Georgetown’s Ollie Nichols Has Ticket Drawn
from Nearly 2,300 Raffle Entries

Ollie Nichols of Georgetown receives his 2017 Disney Raffle prize from Special Olympics Kentucky President and CEO Trish Mazzoni.

Ollie Nichols of Georgetown, Ky., is the winner of the 2017 Magical Disney Getaway Raffle. Special Olympics Kentucky athlete Peggy Stoner drew his ticket from the nearly 2,300 purchased this year. The drawing took place at the Special Olympics Kentucky office in Frankfort on July 7.

Nichols wins:
– A one week condominium stay at Orange Lake Country Club
– Four one-day park hopper passes for Walt Disney World
– A $500 Visa Gift Card for travel expenses
– A Disney-themed gift basket that also includes five free Blaze Pizza coupons good at any location in Kentucky, Tennessee or Florida.

The condominium package was donated by Special Olympics Kentucky Board Chair Karen Dunn. The park hopper passes were donated by Walt Disney World.

The winning ticket was sold by Fayette County Special Olympics parent Kim Gaines.

All proceeds from the raffle benefit Special Olympics Kentucky. Local programs like the one in Fayette County sell tickets through the Share the Proceeds program to directly support local organizations.
