Get Ready for the Biggest Challenge in Kentucky
It’s time to start making plans to be a super hero for Special Olympics Kentucky. Get your team together and get ready to show your super strength at Plane Pull events in Louisville or Northern Kentucky.
The DHL Plane Pull takes flight Sept. 17 when it returns for its fourth year at the DHL Express Hub at CVG airport in Erlanger.
The UPS Plane Pull presented by Res Care will hit the runway one week later on Saturday, Sept. 24. This year the event finds a new home when it moves to the UPS Worldport facility at Louisville International Airport.
Both events involve teams of 20 vying to see who can pull a massive cargo plane 12 feet in the shortest time. Prizes are awarded in men’s, women’s and co-ed divisions, with other prizes awarded to top fundraisers and the teams with the most team spirit and the best team T-shirt.

Last year, the two Plane Pulls combined to raise more than $165,000 for Special Olympics Kentucky.
