SOKY Teams with Special Care for Planning Seminars
Our athletes and their families often face unique challenges. One of the biggest can be how to navigate all of the financial options available to best meet their needs now and into the future. To help, SOKY has partnered with Gordon Homes of MassMutual’s Special Care program to provide a financial planning Virtual Education Series. Sessions will be on Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8 pm Eastern (5:30-7 Central) beginning March 16.
Session topics include:
3/16 – Government Programs and Benefits
3/23 – ABLE Accounts and Guardianship
3/30 – Special Needs Trusts
Homes has more than 40 years experience helping special needs families navigate the unique challenges they face, and he’s excited to offer his expertise to Special Olympics Kentucky families.
You must register in advance for the seminars. You are welcome to attend all three or just the ones that interest you most. You will only need to register one time and you will receive reminders for the remaining sessions. You can register here.
