DESCRIPTION:The Second Annual SOKY Clay Shoot for a Cause presented by Atlas Air is scheduled for Thursday\, September 29\, at Elk Creek Hunt Club in Owenton. \nThe event works a lot like a golf outing. Teams of four will shoot from different stations\, with each person shooting a total of 75 targets. Each team will keep a scorecard and record hits. The team with the most hits wins. \nEntry includes 75 targets\, ammunition\, golf cart and snacks (It is recommended that shooters bring their own guns. Guns may also be rented from Elk Creek Hunt Club).

DESCRIPTION:Great ready for the Chill of a Lifetime when the Western Kentucky Polar Plunge and Polar 5k returns to Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. There are four ways for you to help support Special Olympics Kentucky athletes – run or walk the 5k across one of the most beautiful routes in the state\, jump off a dock into the lake\, run from the beach into the lake or do ALL THREE to complete the Triple Crown Challenge! Many participants will be in wild costumes in an attempt to win the coveted Golden Plunger for having the top costumes. Prizes are also awarded to the top school\, corporate or civic and law enforcement teams as well as the top individual fundraiser.
