DESCRIPTION:The Second Annual SOKY Clay Shoot for a Cause presented by Atlas Air is scheduled for Thursday\, September 29\, at Elk Creek Hunt Club in Owenton. \nThe event works a lot like a golf outing. Teams of four will shoot from different stations\, with each person shooting a total of 75 targets. Each team will keep a scorecard and record hits. The team with the most hits wins. \nEntry includes 75 targets\, ammunition\, golf cart and snacks (It is recommended that shooters bring their own guns. Guns may also be rented from Elk Creek Hunt Club).

DESCRIPTION:More than 800 athletes from across the state will converge on Eastern Kentucky University in the biggest weekend on the Special Olympics Kentucky Calendar. Athletes will be competing in bocce\, rhythmic gymnastics\, soccer\, swimming and track and field. \nIn addition to competition\, athletes will be enjoying their free time in Chick-Fil-A Olympic Town and have the opportunity to receive important health screenings and information in the Healthy Athletes Wellness Village. \nVolunteer Now \n2022 Summer Games Schedule \nFRIDAY\, JUNE 3 \n6:00pm: Opening Ceremonies (Tom Samuels Track) \n6:00 pm: Unified Bocce Competition (Intramural Fields off Van Hoose Drive) \n7:00 pm: Swimming Relays (Alumni Coliseum Natatorium) \n7:00 pm: Track Events – 5k\, 1\,500m & Relays (Tom Samuels Track) \n  \nSATURDAY\, JUNE 4 \n8:00 am: Bocce Athlete Doubles (Intramural Fields off Van Hoose Drive) \n8:00 am: Track & Field Events (Saturday’s Track & Field Schedule will be the Male/Female format: Morning will be males on the track and females in field events.  Schedule will flip for the afternoon with all female track events and male field events. \n8:00 am: Swimming Competition (Alumni Coliseum Natatorium) \nDevelopmental events first then short course events \n8:30 am: Rhythmic Gymnastics (Alumni Coliseum\, Main Floor) \n9:00 am: Soccer Competition (Intramural Fields) \n9:00am – 2:00pm:  \nOlympic Town\, Alumni Coliseum Upper Parking Lot \nHealthy Athletes Opening Eyes\, Alumni Coliseum Auxiliary Gym
