Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® is an inclusive school-based strategy focused on spreading social inclusion through the following three components:

Unified Sports

Unified Sports is when individuals with and without intellectual disabilities participate on the same sports team looking to achieve a common goal.

Whole School Engagement

Whole School Engagement is any activity that promotes inclusion within a school that the majority of the students participate in.

Inclusive Youth Leadership

Inclusive Youth Leadership is achieved when individuals with and without intellectual disabilities work together in leadership within their school to promote inclusion.
