Floyd County Resident Wins $4,900 In Gift Cards

Brian Kidd of Floyd County in Eastern Kentucky is the lucky winner of the 2025 Special Olympics Kentucky Holiday Gift Card Raffle. Kidd’s ticket was drawn at the Special Olympics office in Frankfort Friday, December 12.

Kidd is the winner of a gift card package valued at $4,900 that includes:

• $300 gift card from Shady Rays Sunglasses

• $250 gift card from Papa Johns
• $250 gift card from Sam’s Club
• $250 gift card from Starbucks
• $250 gift card from Target
• $250 gift card from Texas Roadhouse

Kidd, who is a school resource officer for Floyd County Schools, bought his ticket from the Floyd County local Special Olympics program.

This was a another great year year for the Gift Card Raffle, with more than 4,500 tickets sold, raising more than $45,000 to support our athletes. Our thanks to everyone who purchased tickets this year.
