Beaver Dam Resident’s Name Drawn from Among More Than 1,850 Entries

Mike Rafferty of Beaver Dam, Ky., is the winner of the 2025 Magical Disney Getaway Raffle. Winkler’s ticket was drawn by SOKY athlete John Good on July 11 from the more than 1,850 entries.

Rafferty purchased his ticket through the Daviess County Special Olympics program. It is the second winning ticket Daviess County has sold in recent raffles. They sold the winning ticket in the 2023 Gift Card Raffle as well.

Rafferty wins:
– A one week condominium stay at Orange Lake Country Club
– $1,000 Disney Gift Card (enough for 4 one-day Park Hopper passes.
– A $500 Visa Gift Card for travel expenses
– A Disney-themed gift basket

The condominium package was donated by Special Olympics Kentucky Board Member Karen Dunn.
