With training camp behind them, Team Kentucky is ready for its trip to Seattle and the 2018 USA Games. The team leaves June 30, with Opening Ceremonies scheduled for July 1.
Calloway County High School Unified pair Cheryl Chestnut and Kathryn Foster will travel to the Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle with Team Kentucky to take part in the Youth Leadership Experience held there.
Strong Minds – a Healthy Athletes initiative which helps athletes build coping skills – made its debut at the 2018 Special Olympics Kentucky State Basketball Tournament. It is the seventh offering in SOKY’s Healthy Athletes program.
