State Equestrian Competition

One of the State’s Most Unique Events Scheduled for Sept. 16

State Equestrian CompetitionNearly 50 Special Olympics Kentucky equestrian athletes will return to Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park on Sunday, September 16, for the 2018 State Equestrian Competition.

The Competition gives riders from therapeutic and private riding organizations throughout the state an opportunity to come together and display their skills.

Athletes will once again compete in multiple disciplines, including English and Western Equitation, Dressage, Showmanship and Working Trails.

Activities get underway at 8:45 with Opening Ceremonies followed by the first competition class at 9 am. The public is welcome to attend and admission the competition is free (there may be a parking fee through the Horse Park).
