2018 Golf Season Underway

2018 Golf SeasonThe 2018 Golf Season is underway. Intent to participate forms were due on June 13. Only those who turned in an intent to participate form will receive tournament registration information. Athletes competing for the first time in SOKY golf are required to participate their first year at the skills level (level 1). The skills competition allows athletes to train and compete in basic golf skills. The purpose of the skills competition is to measure the athlete’s ability and it is necessary prior to advancing to level 2 (unified play) and level 3 (individual play). The Level 1 Individual Skills competition is composed of 6 different “skills”: short putt, long putt, chip shot, pitch shot, iron shot and wood shot. (All events are listed in the manual).

The registration fee is due on or before the first night of the clinic. All athletes participating in the clinics should also have a valid athlete medical form on file with us. For questions about medicals please contact Renee Moss at [email protected].

Lexington Golf clinics will be at Man O War Golf Learning Center on Monday nights from 6-7pm beginning July 9th. The clinics will run for 5 weeks (weather permitting).

Louisville Golf Clinics will be at Quail Chase Golf Club on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm beginning June 25th. The clinics will run for 5 weeks.
