Writer of Unique Cookbook to Donate Portion of Sales
At 18, Louisville native JoCleta Wilson went on the road as a performer, dancing in dinner houses and supper clubs around the world. Her years in show business took her to incredible places and gave her the chance to experience some of the finest food the world had to offer. Her contracts, 4 to 6-week engagements, included dinner at the club. Always amazed at the tasty food served, she would complement the chef. Many became her friends. Through the weeks’ engagement, the chefs gave her tips and recipes for her collection.
In 40 years of cooking for her family the author, JoCleta, has simplified the chef’s recipes and now is making them available for you in a cookbook.
The book, “Make ‘Em Think You Can Cook.” has 100 pages of entrées, salads, desserts and tips from talented chefs in the finest eating places, making this cookbook unlike any other book available today. This is a perfect gift for brides, bachelors, single parents, elderly, and anyone who feels they can’t cook.
The book sells for $19.95 plus shipping and handling. JoCleta, who has two special needs children, is donating a portion of the proceeds from each sale to Special Olympics Kentucky.
