2023 Western Kentucky Polar Plunge and Polar 5k

Get Freezin’ for a Reason for Special Olympics Kentucky athletes at the Western Kentucky Polar Plunge and Polar 5k. Gather a team or Plunge on your own. And don’t forget your costume! You could win the coveted Golden Plunger with the best individual or team costume.
Plungers raise a “bear” minimum of $75 to participate ($50 for Junior Plungers, 18 and under).
The event also includes a beautiful 5k run along the dam and lake with prizes for top overall finishers and top age group finishers.
You can choose to jump off the dock into the lake, run in from the shore, run the 5k or do all three to complete the Triple Crown Challenge!
