2025 State Summer Games

It’s the biggest weekend of the year!
Athletes from across the state will return to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond for the 30th consecutive year for the State Summer Games.
Athletes will compete in bocce, rhythmic gymnastics, soccer and track and field at the Games, but the competition is just part of the fun. Opening Ceremonies will be held on Friday Night. Olympic Town will give athletes a place to relax, celebrate and play on Saturday. Saturday also includes the Healthy Athletes Wellness Village where athletes can get several free medical screenings. The Games end with a Closing Ceremony and Victory Dance!

Thursday, June 5
9:00 am-4:00 pm – Delegation Packet Pick-Up Open
Friday, June 6
9:00 am – Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg Begins
9:00 am-10:00 pm – Delegation Packet Pick-Up Open
6:00 pm – Opening Ceremonies
7:30 pm – Track and Bocce competitions begin
Saturday, June 7
8:00 am – Competition begins
10:00 am-2:00 pm – Olympic Town open
10:00 am-2:00 pm – Healthy Athletes open
7:30 pm – Closing Ceremony and Victory Dance
