Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving Supports Special Olympics in March

15 Kentucky Locations Choose SOKY as Annual Fundraising Beneficiary

Special Olympics athletes wearing gold medals stand on either end of the counter at a Jersey Mike's location while two Jersey Mike's employees stand behind them in front of the menu board.
In five years, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $300,000 for Special Olympics Kentucky during their Month of Giving, including an incredible $157,000 last year.

Throughout the month of March, 15 Kentucky Jersey Mike’s Subs locations will support Special Olympics Kentucky as their charity of choice for the company’s annual Month of Giving.

All month long, Jersey Mike’s will be encouraging customers to donate in their stores, hosting athlete meet and greets and holding other Special Olympics themed activities. There will be weekly discounts throughout the month.

The month culminates on Wednesday, March 27, with the Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving. On that day, all participating Jersey Mike’s locations will donate 100% of their sales to Special Olympics Kentucky.

This is the sixth year that Kentucky Jersey Mike’s locations have supported Special Olympics Kentucky with their Month of Giving efforts. From 2019 to 2022 Lexington-based Jersey Mike’s shops raised more than $150,000 for our athletes. Last year, participating Kentucky locations raised more than $157,000 for Special Olympics Kentucky more than doubling their overall total to $307,00. The 2023 total also made Jersey Mike’s SOKY’s second-largest overall supporter.

Jersey Mike’s first became involved with Special Olympics Kentucky in 2018 when their newest store on Richmond Rd. opened. To celebrate the Grand Opening, Jersey Mike’s donated the proceeds from their grand opening day to Special Olympics Kentucky. Since then, Jersey Mike’s has been involved in the Lexington Polar Plunge and the Lexington Big Brown Truck Pull.
