Tradition is taking a fresh turn this year. Instead of the annual Plane Pull at Worldport, we’re holding the UPS Truck Pull presented by BrightSpring Health Services, at BrightSpring’s east end offices. The change of venue reflects UPS’ decades-long support of SOKY athletes and their inspiring achievements as well as the commitment to operational efficiency while continuing the .

Teams of 15 will take turns pulling a loaded UPS 18-wheeler 12 feet. The fastest pull times will win trophies in men’s, women’s and co-ed divisions. There are also awards for top fundraising team, top fundraising individuals, best team t-shirt and most team spirit.

Opening Ceremonies includes Special Olympics Athlete Leaders, Fundraising Awards Presentations
as well as remarks from our host and our presenting sponsor.
The Family Fun Zone opens and the Truck Pull competition begins immediately following Opening Ceremonies.

Division Championships and Spirit Awards are presenting following the conclusion of the competition.

The funds raised at the UPS Truck Pull supports over 11,300 Special Olympics athletes across the state of Kentucky who compete in year-round sports competition, leadership training, health screenings, and inclusive school programming.

Each team raises a minimum of $1,500 to participate.
