SOKY Holding Virtual Art Contest

Get Your Creative Juices Flowing!

Art Competition
The Annual Summer Games Art Competition is one of the many ways our athletes show off their talent during Summer Games weekend.

We all know Special Olympics athletes are talented in ways that go well beyond the playing field. One way that talent has been celebrated is at the annual State Summer Games Art Competition. With the cancellation of the Summer Games this year, SOKY will hold a Virtual Art Contest, so it’s time to get your creative juices flowing!

Artists can produce any type of media, so use your imagination (and what you already have at home). Entries will be via e-mail and will require two photos – one of the art itself and one of you working on your piece. You will also need to send your name, age, name of your local delegation or program and the sports you participate in.

All participating athletes will receive a certificate of participation. Gift cards will be awarded for first, second and third place.

All entries MUST be submitted by Friday, May 15 at 4:30 pm (late entries will not be judged). Mark submissions to Kathy Marshall at [email protected]. You can contact Kathy with any questions at that e-mail address, or by calling 502-695-8222.
