UK National Championship team and Charlotte Hornets star Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returned to Lexington to host a basketball camp for Special Olympics athletes at UK’s Joe Craft Center.
2017 Track and Field Schedule Set
The 2017 Area Track & Field schedule is complete. Once again this year, Special Olympics Kentucky will hold eight Area Track and Field Meets with all athletes who compete in one of the meets becoming eligible to compete at the 2017 State Summer Games.
Rupp Arena Hosts Unified Basketball Clinic and Game
On Wednesday, Feb. 22, 50 Special Olympics Kentucky athletes got the opportunity to take the floor at Rupp Arena alongside some all-time UK greats at the first Rupp Arena Unified Basketball Clinic and Blue-White Unified Game.
