17 Stores Combined for Record Total in 2025

The 2025 Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March was another record-breaker for the Special Olympics Kentucky Year-Round Partner. This year 17 stores in Bardstown, Elizabethtown, Frankfort, Georgetown, LaGrange, Lexington, Louisville, Richmond, Shelbyville and Shepherdsville combined to raise more than $246,000 to support Special Olympics Kentucky programs across the state. Much of that money was raised on the annual Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving on March 26, where participating stores donated 100% of the day’s sales to Special Olympics Kentucky.

Jersey Mike’s managers and team members from across the state visited our Athlete Leadership Program class in April to present the checks and celebrate the Month of Giving’s success.

The Georgetown store raised the most money in the state for the second year in a row with $15,980 raised throughout the month. The Poplar Level store in Louisville raised the most money just on the Day of Giving with $12,245, and the new Richmond store had the most Round Up donations (extra donations at the register) with $6,003.

This marks the seventh year that Jersey Mike’s locations have supported Special Olympics Kentucky with their Month of Giving efforts. This year brings their overall total to more than $760,000.

Mark your calendars now for the 2026 Day of Giving which will take place on March 25. Next year Jersey Mike’s will be a Co-Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, so during the Month of Giving every Jersey Mike’s location in the state will be supporting Special Olympics Kentucky and the USA Games.

Jersey Mike’s first became involved with Special Olympics Kentucky in 2018 when their store on Richmond Rd. opened. To celebrate the Grand Opening, Jersey Mike’s donated the proceeds from their grand opening day to Special Olympics Kentucky. Since then, Jersey Mike’s supported events like the Polar Plunge and Truck Pull in addition to naming us as their charity of choice for the Month and Day of Giving.
