Team Kentucky captured a record 50 medals, including 20 gold, at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle. The medal rush was led by many first-time US Games participants.
Team Kentucky will gather for the first time as a complete unit at the Team Kentucky Training Camp, March 16-18 in Lexington.
The Team Kentucky delegation that will represent the state at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games next July in Seattle will be announced live by Special Olympics Kentucky athletes on the organization’s Facebook page at 3 pm on Thursday, July 13.
